Job summary

Techture is seeking an Electrical BIM Engineer to develop and manage electrical BIM models for international projects, ensuring adherence to BIM standards and project workflows.

The role focuses on Revit MEP and Fabrication modelling, clash detection, QA/QC reviews, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, while maintaining documentation and ACC/BIM 360 workflows.

Experience with NEC/IEC standards and be capable of working with global clients is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of BIM modelling experience.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Revit Fabrication, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ACC/BIM 360.

Responsibilities

• Develop Electrical BIM models for Power, Lighting, ELV, Fire Alarm, and related systems in accordance with project BIM standards.
• Develop and maintain Revit MEP and Revit Fabrication models while utilizing fabrication databases as per company and project standards.
• Prepare Electrical shop drawings, construction documentation, and quantity take-offs.
• Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks and Revizto.
• Review Electrical BIM models for QA/QC and compliance with project BIM standards before submission.
• Review Electrical models for compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEC, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and implement client comments.
• Maintain project documentation and ACC/BIM 360 workflows.

Job description

Deliver high-quality BIM models and construction documentation for international projects while following BIM standards and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Develop Electrical BIM models for Power, Lighting, ELV, Fire Alarm, and related systems in accordance with project BIM standards.
• Develop and maintain Revit MEP and Revit Fabrication models while utilizing fabrication databases as per company and project standards.

What We're Looking For

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-5 years of BIM Modelling experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Autodesk Revit Fabrication, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ACC/BIM 360.
• Good understanding of BEP, LOD, QA/QC, CDE workflows, and construction documentation.
• Experience working on US, UK, or Middle East projects is preferred.

Technical Expertise

• Power Distribution, Lighting, ELV, Fire Alarm, Cable Tray, Conduit & Busduct Routing.
• Earthing, Lightning Protection, Electrical Room Coordination and Builder's Work.
• Working knowledge of NEC, IEC, NFPA and related international standards.
