Job summary

NeevIQ is seeking a BIM Engineer – Electrical/MEP to create and manage detailed electrical/MEP models in Revit and related BIM tools for US-standard projects. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines, prepare shop drawings, spools, and installation details, and support quantity takeoffs and constructability reviews.

Qualifications

• Must have experience producing detailed Electrical drawings following US standards.
• Experience in conduit modeling, coordination, lighting fixtures, and device/equipment placement as per DD.
• Good understanding of design drawings.
• Experience in Electrical family creation, point cloud.
• Ability to set up new project files in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 Docs; knowledge of Dynamo programming for team documentation.
• Prepares BIM modeling and detailing per project requirements.
• Knowledge of space planning; other software would be advantageous.
• Good communication skills; office-based work required.

Role Description The BIM Engineer – Electrical/MEP is responsible for creating and managing detailed electrical and MEP models in Revit and related BIM tools, aligned with client standards and project BIM Execution Plans. Day-to-day tasks include modeling electrical and MEP systems, coordinating with other disciplines to resolve clashes, preparing shop drawings, spools, and installation details, and supporting quantity takeoffs and constructability reviews. The role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other BIM professionals to ensure accurate, timely delivery of coordinated packages and as-built documentation. The BIM Engineer also helps implement automation and workflow improvements, while maintaining data integrity and compliance with LOD and naming conventions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area.

Qualifications

• Must have experience of the production of a detailed Electrical set of drawings following US standards.
• Experience in conduit modeling and coordination, Lighting Fixtures, Device and Equipment placement as per DD.
• Good understanding of Design drawings.
• Experience in Electrical family creation, Point cloud.
• Designs conceptual drawings, presentation drawings, and working drawings, related to the project.
• Ability to set up new project files in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 Docs, and knowledge of Dynamo programming for the team documentation.
• Prepares BIM modeling and detailing per project requirements.
• Knowledge and experience of space planning and any additional software's would be an advantage.
• Candidate must have good communication skills.
• Candidates should be available to work from office.
