Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Designer - BIM (Revit & CADs RC) in Bengaluru. You will develop 2D/3D models, drawings, and RC detailing using Revit and CADs RC, while adhering to project standards and codes.

The role requires independent work under limited supervision and strong communication. Ideal candidates have a Diploma or higher in engineering, with 5+ years in RC detailing (CADs RC) and familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenBridge Modeler.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering from an accredited college, institute or university.
• Minimum 5 years of RC detailing experience in CADs RC with BS/Euro Codes.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D/3D models and drawings using Revit and CADs RC.
• Produce detailed RC drafting with CADD tools to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Work under limited supervision and follow standardized procedures.

Job Description

• Works under limited supervision.
• Performs both routine and non-routine, complex drafting assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
• Uses applications to scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines.
• Digitizes or traces sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
• Follows specific, standardized procedures to achieve set results and deadlines.
• Develops and manages 2D/3D models and detailed drawings using Revit and CADS RC.
• Good understanding of relevant codes and standards.
• Experience with MicroStation 2D/3D/OpenBridge Modeler is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university.
• Should have minimum of 5 years of experience in RC detailing in CADs RC with BS/Euro Codes.
• Added advantage for candidates who have Bachelor's in any of the Engineering disciplines.
• Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.
