Sisco Jobs in Trichy, Tamil Nadu is hiring a BIM/CAD / Digital Engineering & Information Coordinator to support high‑voltage infrastructure projects. You will establish BIM standards, templates and data structures while coordinating 2D drawings and 3D models across electrical, civil and structural disciplines.

The role requires model federation, clash detection, QA of models and drawings, plus management of CDE workflows and deliverable registers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 6–10 years of CAD/BIM experience with high-voltage infrastructure.
• Experience with high-voltage power, transmission, substations, utilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project CAD/BIM standards, templates, coordinates, file structures, naming conventions, metadata and issue workflows.
• Develop and coordinate multidisciplinary 2D drawings and 3D models across electrical, civil, structural, cable and building disciplines.
• Federate discipline models and conduct clash and coordination reviews using Navisworks Manage or equivalent.
• Track coordination actions and verify closure of issues before model or drawing issue.
• Manage model exchanges, CDE workflows, revision/status codes, deliverable registers and transmittal readiness.
• Perform detailed model and drawing QA covering layers, levels, annotations, references, coordinates, title blocks, revisions, file health and graphical consistency.
• Support information requirements, model production/delivery planning, responsibility matrices, design reviews and asset-information handover.
• Automate repeatable quality checks and reporting with traceability and approval controls.

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of BIM/CAD / Digital Engineering & Information Coordinator in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Our client is a reputed organization in the power transmission and grid infrastructure engineering sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project CAD/BIM standards, templates, coordinates, file structures, naming conventions, metadata and issue workflows.

Required Skills

• AutoCAD & BIM Authoring — Strong hands‑on capability in AutoCAD plus at least one of Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation or OpenBuildings.
  
• Model Federation & Clash Detection — Practical experience using Navisworks Manage or equivalent for multidisciplinary model federation, clash reviews and issue tracking.
  
• ISO 19650 — Working knowledge of information naming, revision/status control, controlled information states and model coordination principles.
  
• CDE Management — Hands‑on experience with ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 or equivalent common data environments.
  
• Engineering Model & Drawing QA — Ability to check coordinates, references, layers/levels, objects/families, schedules, revisions, annotations and data quality.
  

Preferred Skills

• Excel, Power BI, scripting or automation exposure for BIM/CAD checking and reporting.
  
• Recognised BIM/CAD professional training or certification.
  
• Strong familiarity with high‑voltage transmission, substation, cable-route and multidisciplinary infrastructure deliverables.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates must have 6–10 years of relevant professional experience with substantial hands‑on responsibility for CAD/BIM or digital engineering deliverables. Experience must include high‑voltage power, transmission, substations, utilities, or directly comparable critical infrastructure. Candidates should demonstrate personally coordinated engineering models/drawings rather than architectural visualisation alone.

Education

Minimum: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Construction Technology or related discipline

Preferred: Recognised BIM/CAD training
