Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the BI Reporting Team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale BI reporting solutions with SQL, Power BI, SSRS, and Azure DataBricks/Microsoft Fabric.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure data quality, and optimize performance across reporting platforms. The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years' BI/data engineering experience and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in BI, reporting, or data engineering.
• Hands-on with SQL Server/T-SQL, Power BI, SSRS, Azure DataBricks, and Fabric.
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise BI reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale BI reporting solutions and dashboards.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Build interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Create and support SSRS reports for operational and analytical needs.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure DataBricks and Fabric.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and governance across platforms.
• Troubleshoot data issues and optimize reporting performance.
• Work with data engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable analytics.
• Follow best practices for reporting architecture, documentation, deployment, and support.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.

Required Qualifications:
