Job summary

WSAudiology seeks a BI Lead / Senior Specialist to join their global IT team, focusing on BI and data analytics initiatives across a global scope. The role requires translating business needs into actionable data models and reports, with strong collaboration across stakeholders and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of BI experience, solid Power BI capabilities, SQL/ETL expertise, and exposure to Databricks and Python for analytics and data processing. No travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS/IS/Engineering/Data Analytics).
• 5–8 years of BI, data analytics and solution development experience.
• Hands-on Power BI experience with data modelling and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL skills with SSAS/SSIS for analytics and ETL development.
• Databricks experience for data transformation and Python for analytics.
• Experience in data validation, testing, and UAT with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance BI solutions and dashboards using Power BI.

We are looking for a BI Lead / Senior Specialist to join our global IT team, reporting to the Senior Manager and acting as the IT Representative for business intelligence and data analytics initiatives. In this role, you will design and deliver BI solutions on Power BI, SQL, SSAS, SSIS and Databricks, working closely with internal business and IT stakeholders as well as external vendors across a global scope. This is a business-facing technical role with no travel requirements.

What you will do

• Design, develop and enhance BI solutions, dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI, translating business requirements into actionable data models, KPIs and reports

• Develop and maintain data models, analytical solutions and reporting datasets using SQL and SSAS (Multidimensional and/or Tabular)

• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using SSIS and Databricks, writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and data transformation logic

• Use Python for data analysis, automation, data processing and analytics use cases, and troubleshoot technical issues to optimize the performance of reports, data models and data pipelines

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective BI solutions, managing expectations, progress, risks, dependencies and delivery timelines

• Define and execute testing strategies including unit testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing, validate data accuracy and business rules, and support deployment, release management and documentation.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and BI solution development

• Solid hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design and performance optimization

• Good SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, stored procedures and query optimization, with practical experience in SSAS and SSIS for analytical modelling and ETL development

• Experience with Databricks for data transformation, analytics or data pipeline development, along with working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation and data manipulation

• Experience in data validation, testing, defect management and business UAT, with good communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
