Job summary

Codincity Digital Technologies is seeking a BI Engineer with 3–6 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and optimize enterprise BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will excel in Power BI semantic models, DAX, and data modeling, with a track record of migrating legacy BI reports to Power BI.

The role involves building scalable BI models, creating advanced DAX measures, and ensuring high-performance reports while collaborating with analysts to translate business

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise BI solutions.
• Strong expertise in Power BI semantic models, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience migrating reports/dashboards from legacy BI platforms to Power BI is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business users.
• Build and manage scalable Power BI semantic models to support enterprise reporting.
• Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and calculated tables to meet complex business requirements.
• Create and optimize Power Query (M) transformations for efficient data preparation.
• Design dimensional data models (Star Schema and Snowflake) for analytical reporting.
• Optimize report performance by improving DAX, data models, and visuals.
• Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) for secure data access.
• Collaborate with Analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Migrate reports, dashboards, and semantic models from legacy BI platforms to Power BI.
• Perform report validation, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Create reusable datasets and standardized reporting assets.
• Develop technical documentation and user guides.

About the Role

Experience in migrating reports and dashboards from legacy BI platforms such as SAP BusinessObjects and SSAS/MSAS to Power BI is highly desirable.
