Job summary

OSI Digital, Inc. in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Developer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise to design, develop, and troubleshoot enterprise analytics solutions. You will work on end-to-end analytics, semantic modeling, and ETL integrations using ODI and GoldenGate.

The role requires deep knowledge of OAS/OAC/OBIEE, Oracle Redshift and Oracle DB, with collaboration across stakeholders and onsite leads to deliver stable reporting and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on OAS/OAC/OBIEE experience.
• Strong semantic modeling and RPD development skills.
• Proven ability to design dashboards, reports, and data flows.
• Proficient in Oracle DB and Amazon Redshift queries.
• Experience with ODI and GoldenGate data integration.

Responsibilities

About Role

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Developer with 5+ years of hands‑on expertise in building end‑to‑end analytics solutions, semantic modeling, report development, and ETL integrations. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of OAS/OAC/OBIEE, strong database skills (Oracle and Amazon Redshift), and experience with data integration tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle GoldenGate.In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, cross‑functional teams, and onsite leads to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise reports, dashboards, and underlying data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Analytics & Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain OAS Classic Reports, Interactive Dashboards, Workbooks, Datasets, and Dataflows within Data Visualization (DV).
• Semantic Modeling: Build, enhance, and troubleshoot RPD/Semantic Models across Physical, Business Model & Mapping (BMM), and Presentation layers.
• Advanced OAS Features: Implement and maintain OAS Writeback functionality and manage complex BI Publisher reports, templates, and bursting definitions.
• ETL & Data Integration: Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot ETL data pipelines (using tools like ODI, Oracle GoldenGate, or similar) to ensure seamless, reliable data flow from source systems into the Data Warehouse and reporting layers.
• Query & Data Troubleshooting: Write advanced SQL queries and perform root‑cause analysis to resolve data discrepancies between source systems, staging areas, and OAS reports.
• Production Support & Incident Management: Provide tier‑2/tier‑3 application and production support through Jira and ServiceNow, addressing user access issues, security configurations, report failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Deployment & Governance: Handle object migrations and deployments across environments (Dev, QA, Prod), maintain thorough migration documentation, and ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate directly with business analysts, onsite leads, and end‑users to gather requirements, conduct UAT, and resolve reporting incidents.

Required Skills

• Core OAS/OAC Expertise: 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), or OBIEE.
• Semantic Model / RPD Development: Deep expertise in repository (RPD) development, including complex join strategies, logical columns, variables, security filters, and performance tuning.
• Reporting & Data Visualization: High proficiency in OAS Classic, Data Visualization (DV), BI Publisher, Bursting, and Writeback configurations.
• SQL & Database Proficiency: Strong SQL querying, tuning, and troubleshooting skills on Oracle Database and Amazon Redshift.
• ETL & Integration Experience: Hands‑on experience or familiarity working with ETL/ELT tools, specifically Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle GoldenGate, or equivalent data integration platforms.
• Data Warehousing & Modeling: Solid grasp of core Data Warehousing concepts, including Dimensional Modeling, Fact/Dimension tables, and Star Schema designs.
• Support & Ticketing Systems: Proven experience troubleshooting production incidents, user permissioning/security, and tracking SLAs via ServiceNow and Jira.
• Deployment & Process: Experience documenting migration paths, preparing release notes, and promoting code across multi‑tier deployment environments.
• Experience developing, tuning, and troubleshooting data integration and real‑time replication pipelines involving Amazon Redshift and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Expertise in writing custom ODI interfaces/mappings, knowledge modules, and package orchestrations.
• Strong communication skills with prior experience directly supporting business/onsite users.
