Job summary

Proficio Therapy Services in Maharashtra seeks a Behavior Technician to deliver skill acquisition programs and behavior support in clinical settings.

You will implement programs for daily living, leisure, social and communication skills, monitor progress with the BCBA, and document data using our clinical software. TB test and background check required.

Qualifications

• Interest and commitment to the science of human behavior and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment for individuals with special needs.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skill acquisition programs and behavior support protocols in clinical settings.
• Implement programs that target daily living skills, leisure skills, social skills, adaptive skills, and communication skills.
• Monitor the client’s progress toward the goals of the treatment plan developed by the BCBA.
• Collect data using provided clinical software.
• Work closely with the BCBA to ensure treatment plans are implemented as developed.
• Report to the BCBA if the client is not achieving the goals and objectives set forth in the treatment plan so that the BCBA can modify the plan as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, supervisors, and other related staff.
• Assist BCBA with conducting certain types of assessments.
• Assist with parent training goals as directed by BCBA.

What a day looks like at Proficio as a BT:

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in Paid Childcare would be an added advantage.
• Must haves : Pass TB test and Criminal background check.
