Job summary

GLOBAL ELECTRONICS is seeking a Sales Engineer for its Battery distribution division in the West Region of India. The role targets building and expanding revenue from 0 to 1 with 2WEV and DC BBU/UPS customers, requiring 3-4 years of technical support experience in Li-ion cells and packs.

You will manage pipeline, engage across R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and procurement, conduct product introductions, and provide technical recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Communications/Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical, MBA, or BBA.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the 0-to-1 build-out of the 2WEV and DC BBU/UPS customers revenue.
• Take full ownership of pipeline creation, forecasting, and closure.
• Lead customer engagement across R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and procurement.
• Conduct product introductions and communicate the value proposition to prospective customers.
• Analyse specifications provided by customers and advise on suitable products.
• Stay informed on industry trends and communicate with internal stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues related to our products.
• Log all support cases into the company CRM.
• Attend trade shows and industry events.
• Prepare timely reports for review with suppliers, including applications, assessments, part numbers, annual quantities, and funnel generation.
• Conduct presentations at customer premises.
• Manage sample support for customer prototype testing and future demand for mass production.
• Ensure DR registration with suppliers and obtain necessary project security measures.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Sales engineer for our Battery distribution division in the West Region of India. This role requires 3-4 years of technical support experience in the given role, particularly with Li-ion cell, and/or Li-ion battery pack within 2WEV, Data Centre BBU / UPS industry.

Familiarity with the Top 10 2WEV OEM, and Data Centre BBU / UPS OEM would be advantageous.
