Job summary

Kyndryl Bengaluru is seeking an Application Support engineer to provide L1/L2 24/7 banking application support. You will analyze, debug and resolve production issues in core banking environments, with a focus on Flexcube and related systems.

Strong SQL, Linux, Oracle, IIS, DevOps, API, and scripting skills are required, along with incident management, monitoring and root-cause analysis. You will collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver stable banking services.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in providing L1/L2 application support for core banking applications like Flexcube Retail (FCR) India banking system, Lending, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Payments, CRM.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and map source-to-target tables; prepare MIS reports for regulatory requirements.
• Strong banking domain knowledge, especially India-specific requirements.
• Experience with Agile Methods, Service Architecture and Integration; capable of stakeholder collaboration.

The Role

Application Support engineer to provide L1/L2 24/7 banking application support experience in banking domain, analyze, debug & resolve production issues. Strong Experience with SQL, Linux, Oracle, IIS, Devops, API, troubleshooting, application monitoring, log checking, Incident management & resolution, fine tuning, root cause analysis, scripting and automation skills.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4 to 6 years experience in providing L1/L2 application support for core banking applications like Flexcube Retail (FCR) India banking system, Lending, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Payments, CRM etc.
• Should be able to write complex SQL queries, mapping tables from source to target systems, preparing MIS reports for banks regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge in banking domain, especially for India specific requirements.
• Strong technical acumen & deep working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture and Integration.
• Strong ability to influence, collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Software Engineering Life Cycle deliverables for banking projects.
• Work closely with the business and IT teams to analyse business requirements, analyse and resolve production issues, root cause analysis, identify automation scope etc.
• SQL, Linux, Oracle, IIS, Devops, API, troubleshooting, application monitoring, log checking, Incident management & resolution.
• Experience in using and implementing DevSecOps processes.
