Job summary

Bake O Well, a leading bakery premix innovator, is seeking a Bakery Chef in Mumbai to drive sales and marketing initiatives. The role blends hands-on bakery production knowledge with strong client-facing skills for technical sales and business development.

You will lead product demonstrations, trials, and customer training while building relationships with bakeries, cafes, hotels, restaurants, and institutional buyers across Mumbai and nearby regions. Travel within the area is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Bakery & Confectionery, Culinary Arts, or related field.
• 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in bakery production, baking technology, or bakery operations.
• Strong understanding of cakes, muffins, brownies, waffles, pancakes, and bakery premixes.
• Prior exposure to bakery ingredients, premixes, or food ingredient sales will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Confident in customer interactions and conducting live demonstrations.
• Willingness to travel within Mumbai and nearby regions.

Responsibilities

• Promote and drive sales of Bake O Well's bakery premixes and innovative baking solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, recipe trials, and customer training sessions.
• Provide technical support and bakery expertise to clients, distributors, and channel partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with bakeries, cafes, hotels, restaurants, and institutional customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads across Mumbai and surrounding markets.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on product launches, exhibitions, workshops, and promotional activities.
• Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product development.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and bakery exhibitions.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
