Job summary

Maneva Consulting in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Backup Dell NetWorker Engineer to manage our enterprise backup environment. The role includes Dell NetWorker, Dell Data Domain, SAN/NAS backup, disaster recovery failover, cloning, staging, replication, and tape library operations.

You will work with backup appliances (VTL/PTL), media inventory, and secure access management using CyberArk and the OMI suite.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in backup engineering.
• Must have Dell NetWorker and related backup technologies.
• Experience with Dell Data Domain, SAN/NAS backup and DR failover.
• Proficient in backup cloning, staging, replication and tape operations.
• Hands-on with backup appliances (VTL/PTL) and media inventory management.
• Familiarity with Windows and Red Hat OS and backup parameter configuration.
• Experience with privileged access management (CyberArk) and events/alerts (OMI).
• Exposure to Avamar, Christie, CA Arcserve, HPE StoreOnce, StorageTek SL8500 is a plus.

• Backup Software Dell Networker
• Hardware Dell Data Domain, Quantum Scalar i500/HPE StoreEver MSL
• NDMP backup, SAN (LAN-free) backup
• Backup cloning, staging and replication operations
• Backup appliances operations VTL and PTL
• Backup tapes media operations – inventory, rotation, recall
• Backup failover/failback in Disaster Recovery operations
• Basic working knowledge of Windows and Red Hat Operating Systems and backup-related configuration parameters
• Work with tools such as CyberArk (privileged access management), OMI suite (events/alerts management).

Good To Have Skills

• Avamar,Cristie, CA Arcserve (lesser extent).
• Hardware – HPE Store Once ,Oracle StorageTek SL8500.
• Scripting / automation experience in Unix/Linux.
