Job summary

Gridlogic is seeking a Backend Developer - Python for our Product Engineering team. The role is remote, with Bengaluru/Hyderabad experience considered, focusing on scalable backend services and REST APIs.

You will work in a collaborative virtual environment to deliver high-quality software. Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of Python experience, strong DB skills (MySQL/T-SQL), and a solid grounding in multithreading, asynchronous programming, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with REST APIs, SSL encryption and token authentication.
• Experience with relational databases – MySQL or TSQL.
• Strong understanding of multithreading and asynchronous concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Linux & Apache web servers.
• Knowledge of message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka is desirable.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases like Redis is desirable.
• Good understanding of serverless applications and microservices architecture.
• Experience in deploying cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with unit testing and code reviews.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and work in virtual teams.
• Solid knowledge of Git, DevOps and version control.
