Job summary

Shoppingate is hiring a backend engineer in Bengaluru to design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs with Node.js.

You will collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other teams to translate requirements into robust server-side solutions while writing clean, efficient code and optimizing performance.

Experience with Nest.js/Express.js, MySQL, MongoDB, Git, and cloud services is essential, as is a good grasp of RESTful APIs and agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong Node.js skills using Nest.js or Express.js.
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Familiar with Git and Agile methodology.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and product managers, to define and understand project requirements.

Requirements:
