Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with third‑party travel APIs (flights, hotels, cabs).
• Work with MongoDB and MySQL to design efficient and scalable data models.
• Implement messaging and event‑driven systems using Kafka.
• Collaborate with the team via GitHub for version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance tuning.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily scrums.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka, and GitHub.
• Strong knowledge of API design and integrations (preferably travel APIs such as flights, hotels, or mobility services).
• Understanding of REST, authentication (OAuth/JWT), and microservices architecture.
