Job summary

MimioTech in Mumbai is seeking a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain our core microservices for trading platforms. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring WebFlux to deliver scalable, high-performance services that power client trading and risk management.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on backend experience, a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, and on-site collaboration from our Mumbai office.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and resilient microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring WebFlux to support our financial trading platforms.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Optimize database performance using MySQL, writing efficient queries and designing effective data models to handle large volumes of transactional data.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability of our services.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment pipelines and improve monitoring and alerting systems, reducing downtime and improving system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our coding standards and best practices, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with the operations team to minimize impact on our clients.

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
