Job summary

Light & Wonder in Pune invites a Java Backend Software Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to design and build scalable backend services and APIs. You will work on core platform components, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You'll implement RESTful services, contribute to microservices architecture, and participate in reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficient in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and multithreading.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities
