Billcut is building scalable, high-performance solutions that power modern financial workflows. We are looking for a Backend Developer who is passionate about building robust server-side applications and cloud-native systems.

We are seeking a Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, AWS, and Serverless architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power our products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Architect and deploy applications using AWS services
• Implement and manage serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
• Manage version control and CI/CD workflows using GitHub
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.)
• Experience with Serverless framework
• Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
