Job summary

Bonanza Portfolio is seeking aBack-End Developer who can build and maintain robust server-side logic and APIs using Node.js while collaborating closely with frontend developers. You will manage databases, optimize performance, and contribute across the full software lifecycle in an Agile team.

The role emphasizes API design, scalable architectures, and timely delivery. Prior experience with cloud environments and CI/CD is advantageous for this position.

Role & responsibilities

• Back-End Development


• Build and maintain robust server-side logic and APIs with Node.js.


• Manage server infrastructure, optimize performance, and ensure scalability.


• API Development & Integration


• Design and implement RESTful and Graph QL APIs for seamless integration between front-end, back-end, and external services.


• Database Management


• Design, implement, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).


• Testing & Debugging


• Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, system) to ensure high-quality deliverables.


• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production challenges.


• Software Lifecycle Management


• Contribute throughout the SDLC phases: requirements gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.


• Collaboration


• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers.


• Participate actively in agile practices like sprint planning, code reviews, and stand-ups.


• Version Control & Deployment


• Use Git or similar tools for version control.


• Deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premise environments.


• Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, system) to ensure high-quality deliverables.


• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production challenges.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must-have:


• Strong proficiency in Node.js (backend) and React (frontend).


• Experience with other front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue is a plus.


• Proven experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.


• Solid understanding of RESTful API and/or GraphQL API design and development.


• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools is a plus.


• 3+years of proven professional experience in full-stack development.
