Job summary

The Guild Media Network, via SME Futures, seeks a seasoned journalist to lead in-depth coverage of India’s SME sector, finance, policy shifts, and tech adoption. You will interview entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders, producing features across articles, videos, podcasts, and data-driven content.

You will travel to manufacturing hubs and SME clusters, collaborating with a multimedia team to amplify stories and reach diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of journalism experience, preferably in business, finance, or B2B reporting.
• Degree in Journalism, Communications, Economics, or Business (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stories and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-ground reporting.

Responsibilities

• Tell impactful stories: Write long-form features on SME finance, policy changes, innovation, and tech adoption.
• Investigate & Research: Stay ahead of trends, analyse reports, and craft data-backed narratives.
