Job summary

Brillio is seeking an Azure-focused Cloud Engineer to support provisioning of Azure resources, configure platform services, and enable monitoring within a structured environment. You will assist with Terraform workflows, environment setup, and runbooks under senior guidance.

The role requires hands-on Azure experience, Terraform or IaC exposure, and familiarity with CI/CD concepts, security guidelines, and documentation practices. Collaborative delivery with multiple teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on exposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist provisioning Azure resources and configuring platform services.
• Support Terraform module execution, parameter updates, deployment validation, state review and basic troubleshooting under senior engineer guidance.
• Help prepare Dev/Test/Prod environments, access prerequisites, service-account configuration and Key Vault entries.
• Configure basic Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights dashboards and alerting components as defined by the architecture.
• Assist with runbook creation, knowledge-transfer material, deployment checklists and platform handover documentation.
• Support triage of access, configuration, networking, policy, pipeline or monitoring issues and elevate complex items to senior engineers.
• Perform smoke testing, configuration validation, documentation reviews and evidence capture for governance activities.
• Work closely with cloud, DevOps, security, SRE and AI engineering teams to support delivery cycles.

Roles and Responsibilities

Implementation Support

Assist in provisioning Azure resources, configuring platform services, applying tags, enabling diagnostic settings and validating standard configurations.

Terraform Execution

Support Terraform module execution, parameter updates, deployment validation, state review and basic troubleshooting under senior engineer guidance.

Environment Setup

Help prepare Dev/Test/Prod environments, access prerequisites, service-account configuration, Key Vault entries and deployment documentation.

Monitoring Enablement

Configure basic Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, dashboards and alerting components as defined by the architecture.

Operational Support

Issue Troubleshooting

Required Mandatory Skills

• Working knowledge of Azure core services including resource groups, networking basics, storage, Key Vault, monitoring, managed identities and RBAC concepts.
• Hands-on exposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including variable updates, module usage and plan/apply workflows.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, pull requests, deployment artifacts and environment promotion practices.
• Ability to follow architecture standards, deployment runbooks and security guidelines with strong
• Good troubleshooting, documentation and collaboration skills in a fast-paced project delivery

Required Industry Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure engineering, systems administration or platform support roles.
• 2+ years of Azure hands-on experience in implementation or operations support.
• 1+ year of exposure to Terraform, CI/CD, automation scripts or cloud deployment tooling.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT projects with security, networking, monitoring or operational documentation responsibilities.
• Ability to work effectively under senior engineer guidance while owning assigned tasks to closure.

Required Technical Experience

• Azure fundamentals, resource deployment, networking basics, private endpoint concepts, Key Vault basics, monitoring and diagnostic configuration.
• Terraform basics, module consumption, tfvars updates, plan/apply review, state awareness and
• Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub pipeline basics, artifact handling, environment variables and secure
• Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights dashboards and alert configuration.
• Foundational awareness of AI platform components such as AI Gateway, RAG, observability, token usage and prompt/transcript logging.

Project / Delivery Context

• Role is aligned to the Personal Health Concierge delivery initiative, focused on AI Engineering automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• This JD intentionally focuses on Cloud Engineering, DevOps and Security responsibilities. Other domain, product, AI engineering, UX, data and QA responsibilities are assumed to be staffed by other Brillio practices.
