Job summary

Zensar in Pune is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and automate cloud infrastructure on Azure. You will build and maintain IaC with Terraform and Bicep, and create robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable automated, reliable releases.

The role involves optimizing cloud costs, implementing security controls, and ensuring platform observability, reliability, and scalability across microservices architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and Bicep for IaC.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash/PowerShell) and YAML.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and security controls.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.
• Cost optimization and FinOps awareness.

Responsibilities

• Work with application teams to enable deployment automation, environment standardization, and release reliability
• Support applications built on microservices architecture and event-driven patterns
• Contribute to monitoring, alerting, observability, and performance optimization
• Help implement DevSecOps controls across build, deploy, and runtime stages
• Drive cost optimization / FinOps practices by identifying cloud inefficiencies and recommending improvements
