Job summary

Cloudethix Solutions in Pune is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud platforms on Azure (with AWS exposure). You will build IaC modules, manage networking, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring while driving security and reliability across distributed systems.

The role requires 4+ years in Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps, strong scripting skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/engineering.
• 4+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Eng, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong Azure experience; AWS exposure acceptable.
• Hands-on with IaC (Terraform preferred; Bicep/ARM acceptable).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Scripting skills: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Strong networking fundamentals (VPC/VNet, DNS, VPN, routing, firewalls).
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance best practices.
• Incident handling, monitoring, and observability experience.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, distributed systems.
• Ability to drive technical initiatives independently.
• Certifications (Azure/AWS) preferred.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
• Build reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Manage networking components including VPC/VNet, DNS, VPN, Routing, Load Balancers, Firewalls, NSGs, and hybrid connectivity.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
• Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, patching, compliance checks, and operational workflows.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Implement centralized monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboards using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshoot production incidents, and improve platform reliability.
• Implement cloud security best practices including identity management, secrets handling, encryption, WAF, and secure networking.
• Conduct vulnerability remediation, security reviews, and cloud compliance assessments.
• Work closely with development teams to support cloud-native deployments, APIs, and microservices-based applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
• Take ownership of infrastructure operations and drive automation-first engineering practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure; AWS exposure is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred, Bicep/ARM acceptable).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Good scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including VPC/VNet, DNS, Routing, VPN, Load Balancing, and Firewalls.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and governance best practices.
• Experience handling production incidents, troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational ownership.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms.
• Experience working with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Ability to independently drive technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Security Engineer, or AWS Associate-level certifications are preferred.

• Experience with GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps and advanced deployment automation.
• Experience with cloud governance, policy management, and security tooling.
• Strong familiarity with Databricks enterprise platform deployments and data engineering integrations.
• Understanding of secure Databricks architecture including VNet injection, Private Link, Unity Catalog, managed identities, cluster policies, and workspace governance.
• Experience integrating Databricks with CI/CD, monitoring, cloud storage, and enterprise security controls.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and advanced deployment automation.
• Exposure to AI-assisted automation, intelligent operational tooling, or agentic engineering workflows.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven systems, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes / AKS.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Log Analytics.
