Job summary

Cognizant in Ahmedabad is seeking an Azure Network Engineer to design, configure, and maintain scalable, secure cloud and hybrid network infrastructure. You will implement VNets, subnets, peering, UDRs, and secure connectivity between on‑premises data centers and Azure, using VPN Gateways and Private Link where appropriate.

You will monitor performance with Azure Monitor and Network Watcher, troubleshoot DNS and routing issues, and document disaster recovery plans to ensure high availability.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Network Architecture: Design, deploy, optimize, and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Subnets, Peering, and User-Defined Routes (UDRs).
• Hybrid Connectivity: Support, configure, and troubleshoot secure hybrid connections between on-premises datacenters, Zscaler DC, and Azure using VPN Gateways.
• Network Security: Apply advanced network security, including Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, and Private Endpoints/Private Link.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and DNS issues using Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, and Log Analytics.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, and disaster recovery plans.
