Job summary

Axis Bank seeks a seasoned Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will translate business needs into secure, resilient architectures and drive multi-cloud networking, DR and automation initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review designs, and mentor engineers while ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Ability to design core cloud platform architecture and DR strategies.
• Proficient in cloud networking, VPNs, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and review end-to-end cloud architectures for projects.
• Maintain spoke/hub network topologies across multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot OS-level issues (Linux/Windows) related to cloud infra.
• Collaborate with cross-domain SMEs to resolve issues timely.
• Document end-to-end architecture and budget vs. actuals.

Role & responsibilities

• AWS / Azure / GCP cloud solution design and implementation experience using broad range of cloud services.
• Experience with core cloud platform architecture
• Backup and Disaster Recovery approach and design
• Cloud automation approach/strategy
• Cloud network connectivity and VPN
• Design networking controls in multi cloud hosted solutions
• Recommend, deploy, and manage cloud solutions such as VPCs, Transit Gateway, segmentation, containerization, firewalls, WAF, and other cloud technology solutions.
• Create and review architecture and solution design for projects
• Proficient in maintaining Spoke/Hub network topologies, branch network setup experience (multiple locations)
• Network knowledge in TCP/IP, BGP, IPSec, DNS, Load balancing, HTTP, firewall, Fortinet solutions and experience in troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting of issues at operating system (Linux / Windows) level
• Understanding of Active Directory, Office 365 (O365), Identity Lifecycle and Access Management
• Working along with cross-domain subject matter experts and facilitating collaboration.
• Supporting Implementation, testing and operations teams with architectural insights to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Budgeting and plan vs actual reporting
• Documenting and maintaining end to end architecture

Preferred candidate profile

• Cloud Architect Certifications (Azure Architect, AWS Architect or equivalent certifications)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Network Professional / Expert (CCNP/CCIE)
• Cloud Networking Certifications (Azure/AWS Advanced Networking or equivalent certifications)
• Troubleshooting in cloud networks (Network Watcher, Flow Logs, Cloud Trails etc.)
• VPC/VNET peering, Network/Application Security Groups, NACL, route-table updates
