Job summary

Trigent Software is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain Terraform-based IaC and CI/CD pipelines on Microsoft Azure. The role involves automating infrastructure, managing Azure resources, and ensuring secure, scalable deployments.

The candidate will collaborate with development, QA and infrastructure teams, implement DevSecOps practices, and contribute to deployment automation and monitoring strategies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of DevOps experience.
• Hands-on with Azure DevOps and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and application release processes.
• Manage Azure resources including VMs, VNets, Load Balancers, Storage, App Services, AKS, and Azure SQL.
• Configure Azure DevOps Repositories, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts, and Release Pipelines.
• Integrate security scanning, quality gates, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infra teams to streamline deployments.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize pipelines.
• Implement branching strategies and source control with Git.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud infra.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, and supporting DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Good knowledge of YAML pipeline development.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
• Experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Compute services.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory, or similar DevSecOps tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with Helm Charts.
• Understanding of Azure Landing Zones.
• Knowledge of security best practices and cloud governance.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Azure certifications are highly desirable.
