Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure using Terraform.
• Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Concourse or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Integrate SonarQube, SAST, FOSS scanning, and quality gates into deployments.
• Deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads on AKS; manage Helm charts, Ingress, Secrets, RBAC.
• Implement secure cloud architectures including IAM, RBAC, secrets management, networking, and security best practices.
• Build and maintain monitoring/observability using Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, ELK.
• Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, release pipelines, and deployment governance.
• Participate in SRE practices including SLOs, incident response, and production support.
• Troubleshoot production issues across containers, cluster, networking, and cloud infra.

Azure Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes & Terraform)

We are currently hiring for a Senior DevOps Engineer for one of our clients (a leading Software Services/Product Company) based out of Mumbai.

We are looking for experienced DevOps professionals who are passionate about building reliable, secure, and scalable cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native operations. Key Responsibilities

• Build, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) on Azure. (Azure is mandatory)
• Design, develop, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Integrate SonarQube, SAST, Software Composition Analysis (FOSS), dependency scanning, and quality gates into deployment pipelines.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Helm, Ingress Controllers, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA).
• Implement secure cloud architectures including IAM, RBAC, secrets management, networking, and security best practices.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability platforms using Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, and ELK.
• Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, release pipelines, and deployment governance.
• Participate in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices including SLOs, error budgets, incident response, and production support.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving containers, Kubernetes, networking, cloud infrastructure, and application performance.
• Collaborate with development teams while taking ownership of platform architecture and operational excellence.

Required Skills / Primary Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including AKS, Azure Container Registry (ACR), Virtual Networks (VNet), and Azure Databricks.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including Helm, Ingress Controllers, ConfigMaps, Secrets, networking, and cluster administration.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Concourse, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, release management, and automated deployment workflows.
• Experience with SonarQube, SAST, dependency scanning, FOSS scanning, and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Artifactory/JFrog for artifact management.
• Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell, or Groovy.
• Experience with Maven and Gradle build systems.
• Strong understanding of observability using Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, including metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Good understanding of IAM, RBAC, OAuth2/OIDC, secrets management, and cloud security principles.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Kubernetes, containers, networking, cloud infrastructure, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Additional Skills

• Azure or AWS Associate/Professional Certifications.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, including topic management, lag monitoring, and TLS configuration.
• Experience supporting microservices built using Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Performance testing experience using JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of Policy-as-Code using OPA or Kyverno.
• Experience working across multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS).
Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and DevOps operating models.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and contribute to architecture discussions.
