About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerized workloads on Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud services, Windows Server environments, scripting, and automation, along with exposure to .NET and MSSQL ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using ARM/Bicep/Terraform.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Manage and optimize Azure resources including App Services, VMs, Storage, Networking, and Security.
- Work closely with development teams to support .NET applications and MSSQL databases in production and staging environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server OS and related services.
- Create, maintain, and improve automation scripts using PowerShell and Python.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across environments.
- Monitor and improve system performance using Azure-native tools and third-party monitoring solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software releases and operational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Practical experience in Containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Strong administration skills with Windows Server OS.
- Good understanding of .NET framework applications and MSSQL database deployments.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and Python for automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions in Azure.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud deployments.
Good to Have
- Experience with DevSecOps practices.
- Exposure to Linux OS administration.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure (AZ-104, AZ-400, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years
