Job summary

Kanini Software Solutions in Chennai, India, seeks an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, migrate and modernize on‑prem environments to Azure, and automate deployment, provisioning, and infrastructure management.

The role requires 8+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, strong Azure DevOps, Terraform/ARM/Bicep, Docker, scripting, and a security-minded DevSecOps approach.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Azure Repos, CI/CD, and release management.
• Proven experience in DevOps migration, cloud migration, and modernization projects.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or ARM/Bicep.
• Good understanding of Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services.
• Strong experience with Git, branching strategies, and source code management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Lead and support DevOps migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises or legacy environments to Microsoft Azure.
• Automate application build, deployment, release, and environment provisioning processes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or equivalent tools.
• Manage and automate Azure infrastructure, configurations, deployments, and environment provisioning.
• Implement Git-based version control, branching, merge, and release strategies.
