Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to administer and optimize Azure DevOps Services, pipelines, and repos. You will implement secure CI/CD workflows, manage agents, and integrate with enterprise tools while enforcing governance and best practices across projects.

The role requires strong scripting, IaC, and automation skills, with exposure to Entra ID and RBAC, contributing to scalable software delivery and secure cloud operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure DevOps administration required.
• Strong experience with Azure Repos, Pipelines, Boards and Artifacts.
• Proficient in Git, branching strategies and repo management.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and DevOps best practices.
• Knowledge of AD/Entra ID integration and RBAC.
• Automation scripting using PowerShell and Azure CLI.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Azure DevOps Services projects and agents.
• Configure Azure Repos, Pipelines, Boards, and Artifacts; manage permissions.
• Support CI/CD pipeline setup, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Manage self-hosted and Microsoft-hosted agents and environments.
• Enforce governance, security and compliance across DevOps platforms.
• Integrate with Azure Cloud, GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira and other tools.

Azure DevOps Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Administration.
• Expertise in Azure Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Test Plans, and Artifacts.
• Experience managing build agents, service connections, and deployment environments.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and repository management.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) integration and access management.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience in troubleshooting pipeline, permissions, and integration issues.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
• Understanding of DevSecOps and security compliance practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum project management processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Azure DevOps Services projects, repositories, pipelines, and agent pools.
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Configure and manage Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts.
• Support development teams with CI/CD pipeline setup, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Manage self-hosted and Microsoft-hosted build/release agents.
• Implement governance, compliance, and security best practices across the DevOps platform.
• Configure project templates, branch policies, pull request workflows, and repository standards.
• Monitor platform health, usage, and performance.
• Integrate Azure DevOps with Azure Cloud, GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, and other enterprise tools.
• Perform platform upgrades, maintenance, audits, and access reviews.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for Azure DevOps-related issues.
