Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles and strong skills in Azure DevOps services.

Your responsibilities will include configuring Azure DevOps tools and automating operational tasks to improve the efficiency of deployment processes.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of hands-on experience working in DevOps or build & release engineering roles.
• Strong, practical experience (5+ years) with Azure DevOps services (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards) in production environments.
• Proven experience designing, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for complex applications on Azure.
• Solid understanding of source control (Git) workflows, branching strategies, and code integration practices within Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of Docker for containerizing applications and integrating containers into build and deployment workflows.
• Experience troubleshooting build and deployment failures and resolving environment‑related issues in Azure.
• Strong scripting capability using at least one scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or similar) for automation within pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for multiple applications and services.
• Configure and manage Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards to support efficient development workflows.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) for Azure resources, ensuring consistent, repeatable, and version‑controlled environments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and integrate container workflows into build and release pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize build, release, and deployment processes to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to define branching strategies, release strategies, and environment promotion workflows.
• Implement and enforce security, compliance, and governance best practices across Azure DevOps projects and pipelines.
• Automate routine operational tasks (builds, deployments, environment provisioning) to reduce manual effort and errors.
• Set up and maintain build and release documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze pipeline metrics and deployment data to drive continuous improvement in delivery speed and stability.
