Job summary

Texplorers INC in Hyderabad is seeking a senior Azure data platform engineer to manage cloud data platforms and related databases. You will optimize performance, ensure security, and support BI integrations.

The role involves production deployments, automation, and disaster recovery planning. The ideal candidate brings strong Azure expertise, experience with Synapse/Databricks, and proficiency in IaC with Terraform/ARM.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Azure-based cloud data platforms and databases.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, monitoring, backup and recovery, and incident handling.
• Knowledge of security and governance using Azure Entra ID, Azure RBAC, and Managed Identities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support Azure-based cloud data platforms with high availability.
• Administer Azure SQL, SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Azure Storage services.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Optimize database, pipeline, and platform performance.
• Manage user access and governance with Azure Entra ID and Azure RBAC.
• Support Power BI, APIs, and enterprise data integrations.
• Handle production deployments, provisioning, migrations, and DR activities.
• Develop automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC for deployments.
• Create and maintain runbooks and SOPs.
