Job summary
GSPANN Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Azure Data Operations Support Engineer to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of Azure data services in production environments across the enterprise.
You will monitor and support Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, and Azure SQL, performing proactive maintenance, triage, and incident management. The role requires 2–3 years of production/support experience, strong SQL troubleshooting
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in Production Support/Application Support.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform services (ADF, Synapse, Fabric, Databricks, Azure SQL, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of Incident Management, RCA, and Production Operations.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Good SQL troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of SRE and monitoring best practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 production support for Azure data platforms and workloads.
- Monitor and support Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, and Azure SQL.
- Monitor data pipelines, scheduled jobs, APIs, integrations, and data loads.
- Perform initial triage and troubleshooting of pipeline failures, data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems.
- Manage incidents, conduct impact analysis, perform RCA, and drive issue resolution.
- Utilize Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for monitoring and alert management.
- Coordinate with development and engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve platform reliability.
