Job summary

Athena Consultancy Services is looking for an Azure-focused IT professional to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will work across Windows and Linux servers, implement RBAC with Entra ID, and monitor key services to ensure reliability.

The role involves hands-on deployment, troubleshooting, and collaboration with multiple teams to optimize cloud solutions and networking configurations. Strong communication is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Azure.
• Windows and Linux server administration knowledge.
• Strong networking basics: DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, NSGs.
• Familiarity with Terraform or ARM/Bicep templates.
• Basic Docker and CI/CD knowledge.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Description:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services such as Azure VM, Storage Account, Virtual Network, Azure AD/Entra ID, Azure SQL and Monitor.
• Good understanding of Azure infrastructure and cloud concepts.
• Experience in deploying, configuring and managing applications/resources on Azure.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration.
• Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancer, NSG and Firewalls.
• Experience with Azure IAM/Entra ID, RBAC and access management.
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, backup and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Terraform or ARM/Bicep templates is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot Azure infrastructure and application-related issues.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
