Job summary

Talentrouters is seeking a highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in Chennai. You will help build, operate, and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure with a focus on availability and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, hands-on AWS and Azure, strong scripting, containerization, and CI/CD experience. You will mentor teammates and drive reliability initiatives in a fast-paced office setting.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and help build, operate, and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of production systems.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using observability and monitoring tools.
• Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and system design.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Able to handle team independently and mentor .
• Show Leadership skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing SRE and DevOps best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
