As an AWS Modernization Specialist - Senior Manager, you will lead transformative projects within our Technology Consulting practice, focusing on software engineering and product innovation. You will engage directly with clients, leveraging your skills to drive modernization initiatives that enhance their technological capabilities. As a Senior Manager, you will apply your strategic vision and sound judgment to guide teams through complex challenges, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will motivate and coach diverse teams, using your professional acumen to deliver impactful solutions and validate outcomes with clients.

Responsibilities

• Leading the modernization of software applications using AWS technologies and methodologies
• Overseeing the development and integration of enterprise application architectures
• Managing software development projects, confirming alignment with client requirements and timelines
• Implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance software deployment efficiency
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive business process improvements and innovation
• Conducting code reviews and maintaining coding standards to uphold software quality
• Utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, and C# to develop scalable solutions
• Facilitating the adoption of microservices architecture for improved system performance
• Engaging in strategic questioning to identify and address complex technical challenges
• Promoting the use of agile methodologies in software project management
• Validating software testing and quality assurance processes to confirm functionality and reliability
• Coaching and mentoring team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and development

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 14+ years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience in modernization or transformation.
• Mastery of microservices architecture, domain-driven design, bounded contexts, and decomposition patterns.
• Proven track record leading enterprise-scale modernization programs.
• Extensive backend development experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or equivalent.
• Expert-level REST/API development on Lambda/API Gateway with SAM governance.
• Deep experience with event-driven architectures at enterprise scale (EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, Kinesis).
• Strong proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, Fargate).
• Experience establishing service mesh governance (App Mesh) and service discovery standards (Cloud Map).
• Experience with complex database decomposition, DMS (AI-assisted schema conversion), and SCT.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to drive modernization strategy at the executive level.

Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Practices.

Strong understanding of application security, identity management, and cloud governance
