Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking a cloud-focused engineer for Bengaluru to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications on AWS with serverless patterns. You will build REST APIs and microservices, leverage Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions, and work with DynamoDB/RDS/Aurora.

Join a team collaborating with architects, DevOps, and QA to deliver secure cloud solutions, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure robust monitoring with CloudWatch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cloud development.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using AWS cloud services.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud apps.
• Create REST APIs and microservices.
• Implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions.
• Develop event-driven apps with SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
• Work with DynamoDB, RDS, and Aurora.
• Apply cloud security practices with IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy or Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
• Monitor apps with CloudWatch and troubleshoot production issues.
• Write unit tests, debug, ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, QA, stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and document tech details.

Requirements

• Implement cloud security using IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and security best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
