Job summary

ADDVantage Digital Solutions is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure. The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams to streamline deployments and automate infrastructure.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, and ensure security and compliance across environments. Strong communication is essential for remote freelance collaboration and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Implement AWS security best practices to safeguard cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular reviews of infrastructure security posture.
• Work with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.

Collaboration & Project Coordination

• Regularly coordinate with the Project Manager to align DevOps activities with project timelines and objectives.
• Collaborate on project planning and resource allocation.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
