Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking a candidate with 6 to 8 years of IT experience for designing end-to-end AWS Serverless solutions. The role requires strong knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, S3, and CDK.

PoC/MVP implementations and IaC with CDK are essential. The ideal candidate will understand AWS networking, monitoring, and DevOps practices, with experience in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing end to end AWS Serverless solutions.
• Knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, Cognito, Service Catalog, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Event Bridge, S3.
• Experience in implementing PoC/MVP of end-to-end AWS solutions.
• Must know AWS CDK. Cloud formation is an add-on.
• Implementation experience AWS Serverless services like: Lambda, ECS Fargate, ECR, EFS etc.
• IaC using CDK and AWS networking concepts including VPC, Load Balancer, Direct Connect.
• AWS networking understanding and monitoring thresholds.

Responsibilities

• Understand and articulate AWS functions and implement suitable solutions with HLD/LLD.
• Identify requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS; design at high and low levels.
• Provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle.
• Understand monitoring metrics and take corrective actions based on thresholds.
• Leverage automation to reduce incidents and repetitive tasks.

• Experience in designing end to end AWS Serverless solutions.
• Knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, Cognito, Service Catalog, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Event Bridge, S3
• Experience in implementing PoC/MVP of end-to-end AWS solutions.
• Must know AWS CDK. Cloud formation is an add-on.
• Implementation experience AWS Serverless services like: Lambda, ECS Fargate, ECR, EFS etc.
• An understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using CDK.
• AWS networking Understanding, of AWS load Balancer, VPC, Hosted Zone, Direct Connect, Virtual Interface, VPC Flow Logs

Good To Have Skills:

• AWS CLI and APIs.
• AWS Deployment.
• AWS Software Development Kit or CDK
• Hands-on experience on DevOps tools like GitHub Action or Jenkins and will be an added advantage. Should also have experience with Continuous Delivery (CD).

Responsibilities or Expectations from the Role:

• Ability to understand and articulate the different functions within AWS and implement appropriate solutions, HLD, LLD around it.
• Ability to identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS, perform high level and low-level design for the AWS platform.
• Capabilities to provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a project.
• Understanding the significance of the different metrics under the monitoring, their threshold values and should be able to take necessary corrective measures based on the thresholds.
• Knowledge of automation to reduce the number of incidents or repetitive incidents are preferred
