Job summary

Sygitech - Managed Cloud Services and DevOps seeks an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and secure scalable AWS infrastructure. You will manage EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, and serverless services, build CI/CD pipelines, and implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, while optimizing costs and reliability.

The role requires hands-on AWS experience, Linux administration, and strong scripting; remote or onsite options in India are possible, with focus on secure, scalable cloud

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, compute, storage, databases, IAM, and security.
• Terraform, Docker, Git, and CI/CD experience.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Nginx/Apache/HAProxy, SSL/TLS, and DNS.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL and Redis.
• Good understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices.
• ISO 27001, AWS WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix will be an advantage.
• Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect / SysOps / DevOps certification.

Responsibilities

• Configure AWS networking including subnets, routing, NAT, VPN, Security Groups, and NACLs.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Manage Docker-based workloads and Linux servers.
• Configure monitoring, logging, backup, security, and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot production infrastructure, application connectivity, network, and performance issues.
• Perform AWS cost optimization and resource rightsizing.
