You will implement IaC with CloudFormation, monitor with CloudWatch, and collaborate with development and operations teams on CI/CD, backups, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an AWS Administrator or similar cloud management role.
• Hands-on with EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, CloudFormation and networking.
• Experience in infrastructure monitoring and incident management.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
• Automation or scripting experience (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

Responsibilities

This role requires hands-on experience with AWS services, proactive monitoring, and automation skills to support a reliable cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
• Set up and monitor metrics, alarms, and logs using Amazon CloudWatch and related tools
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting to identify and resolve potential issues
• Maintain and audit security configurations, IAM roles, and access controls
• Provision and manage EC2 instances, VPCs, Security Groups, S3 buckets, and EBS volumes
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using CloudFormation or other IaC tools
• Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost-efficiency strategies
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and incident response playbooks
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines, backups, and DR planning
• Stay current with AWS updates and recommend architecture and operational improvements
