Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in India is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer with 8–14 years of experience for roles in Kolkata and Pune. You will work on public cloud, Terraform automation, and cloud infrastructure design to support scalable, secure deployments.

You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams, implement cost-optimization, monitor via CloudWatch, and apply SRE principles to maximize uptime and efficiency across AWS and Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS Cloud and Terraform configurations.
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration background.
• Familiarity with SRE concepts and infrastructure automation.
• Networking basics including security groups, firewalls, and DNS.
• Cost optimization and monitoring using cloud-native tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Terraform configurations to automate AWS resource provisioning.

Job Description

• Experience in Public Cloud and services (or) AWS Cloud
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines and work closely with IT security to monitor
• Design, implement, and maintain Terraform configurations to automate the deployment, and management of AWS resources
• Strong experience as a Windows, LINUX System Administrator and Production Support of various applications on Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux & Ubuntu.
• Understand the concepts of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to maximize automation, reduce waste, increase scale and apply systemic thinking.
• Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Firewall, ExpressRoute, load balancer, DNS, etc Azure (or) AWS
• Developing and maintaining Terraform modules to automate the provisioning of AWS resources.
• Implementing best practices for infrastructure design and configuration to ensure high availability, security, and cost optimization.
• Utilizing tools like CloudWatch and implementing cost optimization strategies to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Working closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of infrastructure.
• Continuous learning about new AWS and Terraform features and best practices to improve infrastructure.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and performance.
• Identifying issues and providing resolution related to Firewall, Security groups using CloudTrail logs.Working with security groups related configurations for application requirements.
• Designing, implementation, and management for infrastructure on Azure cloud.
