Job summary

Tredence is seeking a hands-on AWS Architect to lead the design and governance of our AWS cloud environment in Bangalore. You will shape reference architectures, guide migrations, and ensure security, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.

You will collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines, define landing zones, multi-account governance, and stay ahead on security with IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.

Qualifications

• 810 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on AWS architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in core AWS services: EC2, EKS/ECS, VPC, IAM, S3, and RDS.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Strong cloud security, networking, and multi-account governance.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven track record leading large-scale cloud migration or greenfield builds.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and secure AWS architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Lead migration and modernization of workloads from on-premises or other clouds to AWS.
• Architect solutions using core AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudFront).
• Define landing zones, multi-account strategies, and governance using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
• Establish security and compliance standards leveraging IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
• Partner with DevOps teams to design CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Own cloud cost optimization initiatives, including reserved capacity and rightsizing strategies.
• Mentor engineers and act as the go-to authority for complex architectural decisions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into well-architected, scalable AWS solutions.

• Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing architecture role.
