Job summary

Accenture in India seeks a Cloud Platform Architect to oversee application architecture and deployment across public, private, and hybrid clouds. You will aid in cloud adoption planning, design scalable cloud-native solutions, and guide teams on best practices for performance and cost management.

You will leverage deep AWS expertise (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, S3, DynamoDB) and modern IaC/DevOps approaches to deliver secure, compliant architectures.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture.
• Deep expertise in AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Redshift, S3 and DynamoDB.
• Exposure to AWS Bedrock, Sagemaker and Agentic AI architecture.
• Strong CI/CD, IaC, DevOps, security and compliance knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure systems for high-traffic, real-time environments.
• Design AWS native serverless solutions using relevant services.
• Define cloud infrastructure requirements for platform teams.
• Estimate effort for planning and budgeting.

As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments, which includes public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to design and implement cloud solutions, ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and scalability while adhering to best practices in cloud management and monitoring. You will also engage in strategic planning for cloud adoption and provide guidance on application design to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, resilient, and secure systems for high-traffic, real-time environments.
• Architect AWS native serverless solutions using relevant AWS native services.
• Architecting Agentic and MCP solutions.
• Estimate effort to support accurate planning and budgeting.
• Define cloud infrastructure requirements for platform team.
• Optimize performance and cost across AWS services using CloudWatch and observability tools.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
• Mentor teams on AWS architecture patterns and best practices.

Required Skills

• 15+ years overall experience, with 5+ years in cloud architecture.
• Deep expertise in AWS services such as AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Redshift , PySpark, Step Functions, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, SES, Apache Kafka (MSK), Amazon S3, Aurora (PostgreSQL), Dynamo DB
• AWS Bedrock, Sagemaker, Agentic AI architecture exposure. Effective Prompting and Amazon Q exposure
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices, cloud security and compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification., AWS ML specialist certificate

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in AWS Architecture.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
