Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Capital Markets, Broking, and RMS risk management.
• Understanding of margin calculations, exposure, collateral, limits, and risk controls.
• Experience with NSE, BSE, MCX, clearing corporations, and exchange interfaces.
• Proficiency in .NET technologies and SQL Server performance tuning.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, real-time systems, and distributed apps.
• Knowledge of IT risk, cybersecurity, VAPT, DR/BCP and audits.
• Vendor and stakeholder management experience.

Responsabilités

• Own RMS related application management and drive uptime, latency, throughput and scalability improvements.
• Monitor critical APIs and services including Order, Limits, Margin, Position, and Market Data APIs.
• Lead incident investigations, RCA, CAPA, and risk indicators for senior management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with SEBI, exchange circulars and margin requirements.
• Drive technology modernization, vendor coordination, and testing for API changes.
• Promote AI/ML based monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated alerting.

IIFL Capital is hiring for a senior technology role focused on Risk Management Systems (RMS), trading applications, technology risk, regulatory compliance, and platform modernization within a capital markets environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application management related to Risk management processes (RMS)

• Drive improvements in application uptime, latency, throughput, and scalability.
• Monitor critical APIs and services including Order, Limits, Margin, Position, and Market Data APIs.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for production incidents and ensure permanent corrective actions.
• Establish proactive monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and anomaly detection mechanisms.
• Ensure high availability, DR readiness, and periodic DR drills.
• Own technology risk management for real-time RMS and trading applications.
• Ensure accurate and timely margin, exposure, limit, position, and risk calculations.
• Monitor and improve risk controls for F&O, Commodity, Equity, and other exchange segments.
• Identify potential operational and technology risks and implement preventive controls.

2. Exchange & Regulatory Risk

• Ensure timely implementation of SEBI, exchange, clearing corporation, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate implementation of exchange circulars and regulatory changes across RMS and trading applications.
• Ensure compliance with margin, exposure, collateral, surveillance, and risk-control requirements.
• Support internal, external, regulatory, VAPT, and compliance audits.

3. Technology Risk & Security

• Identify vulnerabilities and track closure of VAPT, security, and compliance findings.
• Ensure timely remediation of outdated components, application vulnerabilities, and infrastructure risks.
• Review application architecture and technology dependencies from a risk perspective.
• Drive technology modernization and reduction of legacy-system dependencies.

4. Incident & Problem Management

• Lead critical production incident investigations.
• Perform RCA, impact assessment, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
• Track recurring incidents and implement measures to reduce production issues.
• Establish incident metrics and risk indicators for senior management.
• Coordinate with vendors for resolution of critical technical and functional issues.
• Manage technical interactions with exchanges, clearing corporations, RMS vendors, and technology partners.
• Review vendor performance, SLA adherence, incident resolution, and technology risks.
• Challenge vendor solutions where required and ensure appropriate risk mitigation.
• Coordinate testing and certification for new exchange/API changes.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual risk-management and operational processes.
• Promote use of AI/ML, anomaly detection, automated monitoring, and intelligent alerting.
• Drive API modernization, process automation, and legacy-system decommissioning.
• Evaluate open-source technologies and modern data-processing platforms where appropriate.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Capital Markets / Broking / RMS.
• Understanding of margin calculation, exposure, positions, collateral, limits, and risk controls.
• Experience with NSE, BSE, MCX, clearing corporations, and exchange interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of .NET technologies, SQL Server and database performance.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, real-time systems, and distributed applications.
• Knowledge of application performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Strong understanding of IT risk, cybersecurity, VAPT, DR, BCP, and audit requirements.
• Strong incident management and RCA skills.
• Experience in vendor and stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of SDLC, change management, release management, and production support.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure/AWS is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AI/ML-based monitoring and automation is an advantage.
