Aquis Search is recruiting an AVP, Legal on behalf of a fast-scaling wealth NBFC in Mumbai. The role involves independently running transactions, legal structuring, and closing facilities and products such as loans against securities, loans against property, and structured liabilities.

The ideal candidate has 4 to 6 years PQE with hands-on NBFC/banking/structured finance experience, preferably from a law firm or in-house team.

• 4 to 6 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Hands-on experience in NBFC, banking, or structured finance transactions.
• Law firm background with NBFC/banking/structured finance practice or in-house NBFC/bank legal team.
• Strong drafting, negotiation skills, and sound commercial judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Independently structure, negotiate, and run transactions across lending products including loan against securities and loan against property facilities.
• Provide legal structuring support on structured products such as NCDs, commercial paper, PTCs, and other structured liabilities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate facility agreements, security documents, and other transaction documentation in coordination with business and credit teams.
• Handle general legal work including NDAs and routine commercial agreements.
• Support compliance and risk teams on regulatory matters relevant to NBFC operations.
