Barclays is seeking an AVP - Banker Support for PBWM India FO Extn to assist Relationship Managers with onboarding, servicing and client requests. The role interfaces with Operations and other support teams to ensure governance, risk controls and timely client service; experience in wealth management and excellent communication are valued.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success role To support Private Bank & Wealth Management business with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting through technical expertise. Monitoring the business KPIs, reporting metrices to ensure that they are timely reported to senior leadership. Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in the processes. Development and implementation of data insights, MIS, intelligence, development of reports and presentations on performance and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.

Basic/ Essential Qualifications

• Provide business development intelligence by leveraging desktop research and market tools.
• Conduct market, geographical and financial research as well as ad-hoc research for pitch decks, client meetings to inform the PBWM sales teams of latest market developments.
• Create benchmarks based on accounting & financial concepts to deliver insightful analysis to the key business stakeholders to drive new business activity.
• Enhance the conversion of sales pitches into actual deals and customer acquisition, i.e. drive wallet share and new business activity.
• Liaise with key business stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the value derived from the analysis and improvement areas.
• Support with the deep-dive analysis and suggestion on the client portfolios.
• Ensure strong governance, financial discipline, and adherence to control frameworks across the business.
• Support standardisation, process improvement, and scalable, data-driven ways of working.
• Partner to deliver consistent, insight-led business outcomes.

This role will be based out of DLF Downtown, Gurugram.

Purpose

Support and assist Relationship Managers in acquiring, onboarding, servicing and retaining clients to deliver overall business goals, managing complex client situations.

Where required liaise directly with clients regarding complex client requests in respect of various banking and servicing requirements such as onboarding, banking transactions, Investments, credit & digital solutions.

Work closely with Operations and other support functions to deliver positive outcomes for clients.

Accountabilities

• Establish strong client and internal relationships alongside relationship managers to ensure high quality service is provided at all times
• Responsible for all aspects of clients servicing and service engagement plans. To include leading client service review visits to support and improve client experience
• Develop relationships with other areas of the bank; in doing so, they will have joint responsibility with internal colleagues for the end-to-end client experience, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Point of contact for all new account queries, complex servicing requests and a liaison between relationship teams and support/specialist teams
• Ensure legal and regulatory standards and internal policies and procedures are adhered to, support relationship managers with risk related activities
