Job summary

Infosys is seeking an AVEVA specialist to design, implement, and support AVEVA E3D and Unified Engineering projects. You will configure templates, manage catalogs, and ensure data governance across multi-discipline teams.

The role requires hands-on AVEVA experience, strong scripting skills, and the ability to work in global delivery and customer-facing environments. Experience with ERP integrations and digital engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop customizations and automation utilities using PML 1, PML 2, .NET, and scripting.
• Administer AVEVA E3D/PDMS environments including project setup and access control.
• Configure catalogs, specifications, and engineering standards within AVEVA environments.
• Support data synchronization and integrations with ERP and document management systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance.
• Support upgrades, migrations, and implementation of AVEVA platforms.
• Collaborate with Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process teams.
• Develop reports, extraction utilities, and engineering automation solutions.
• Adhere to project standards and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support AVEVA E3D and Unified Engineering (UE) solutions.
• Develop customizations and automation utilities using PML 1, PML 2, .NET, and scripting technologies.
• Administer AVEVA E3D/PDMS environments including project setup, database management, user management, and access control.
• Configure catalogs, specifications, templates, and engineering standards within AVEVA environments.
• Support engineering data synchronization and integrations with ERP, document management, and third-party systems.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
• Support upgrades, migrations, and implementation of AVEVA engineering platforms.
• Collaborate with Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process teams on project execution.
• Develop reports, extraction utilities, and engineering automation solutions.
• Ensure adherence to project standards, data governance practices, and engineering best practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Experience with AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Diagrams, AVEVA NET, and Digital Twin initiatives is preferred.
• Experience in AVEVA E3D implementation, upgrade, support, and migration projects.
• Knowledge of engineering lifecycle management and digital engineering transformation programs.
• Experience integrating AVEVA platforms with SAP, Oracle ERP, and document management systems.
• Ability to work in global delivery and customer-facing environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• AVEVA certifications will be an added advantage.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

• 512 years of experience in AVEVA E3D / PDMS / Unified Engineering (UE).
• Strong hands-on experience in: AVEVA E3D Administration; AVEVA Unified Engineering (UE); AVEVA PDMSE; Engineering Data Management; Project Setup & Administration.
• Expertise in: PML 1 & PML 2 Development; AVEVA Customization; Forms, Macros, and Automation Utilities.
• Database Administration; Catalogue & Specification Management.
• Experience with: Clash Detection & Resolution; Drawing Extraction & Reporting; Data Migration & Synchronization; User and Role Management; Engineering Workflow Configuration.
• Knowledge of: SQL Server / Oracle Database; C# / .NET; XML / JSON; API Integrations.
• Windows Server Administration.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering involving: Piping; Equipment; Structural; Electrical; Instrumentation domains.
• Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, LNG, Energy, or Industrial projects.
