Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a DDS InnoTech EPC Product Expert Lead - Aveva to oversee the L3 support ecosystem of Aveva Suite within the Digital Delivery Services (DDS) Innotech. You will upskill and lead the L3 team toward a high performance in configurations and maintenance of the Aveva environment (Aveva UE, ERM, Workpacks).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• AVEVA E3D Design Administration certification.
• AVEVA Global Administration certification.
• AVEVA Pipework Spec Writing certification.
• Domain: Engineering, IT.
• 10+ years in EPC projects and Engineering IT.
• Lead admin for E3D and Aveva products for 5+ years.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient in PML and C#/.NET for Aveva customization.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server and Aveva's proprietary databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead L3 team of Aveva specialists across global centres.
• Translate high-level designs into Aveva configurations.
• Define and enforce Aveva 'Golden Rules' for data and projects.
• Upskill L3 team and manage Aveva transition.
• Lead data migration from SmartPlant to Aveva with data integrity.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The DDS InnoTech - EPC Product Expert Lead - Aveva oversees the L3 support ecosystem of Aveva Suite within the Digital Delivery Services (DDS) Innotech. He/She is a technical authority for our global engineering platform. You will upskill and lead the L3 team towards a high performance team for the configurations and maintenance of the Aveva environment (Aveva UE, ERM, Workpacks..).

His/Her mission is to build a robust, scalable technical foundation that supports our progressive transition from SmartPlant Suite.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Team Management: lead L3 team of experts (mainly based in India but not only), overseeing complex ticket resolution, system upgrades, and environment synchronization.
• Architecture Implementation: work closely with the EPC Solution Architect to translate high‑level designs into technical configurations within the Aveva structure.
• Standardization: define and enforce technical "Golden Rules" for database management, project setup, and multi‑office collaboration (Aveva Global).
• L3 team upskilling and Aveva Transition.
• Migration Execution: act as the technical lead for moving intelligent data out of SmartPlant and into Aveva, working in tandem with the SmartPlant Lead Admin to ensure data integrity.
• Tool Development: interface for the development of PML scripts, .NET plugins, and automated report templates to meet requirements defined by the Product Managers.
• Operational Excellence: ensure the Aveva suite maintains close to 100% uptime and optimal latency for designers across all global centers.
• Security & Compliance: oversee access controls, license compliance, and data backups for the entire suite.
• Vendor Escalation: act as primary technical point of contact with Aveva Support for high‑priority platform bugs.

Are you a MATCH?

• Education: Bachelor's, Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Training, certification: AVEVA E3D Design Administration, AVEVA Global Administration, AVEVA Pipework Spec Writing.
• Domain: Engineering, IT.
• Work Experience: EPC projects > 10 years; Engineering IT > 10 years; Lead admin for E3D and other Aveva products > 5 years.
• Language: English (fluent).
• Technical expertise: 10+ years of Engineering IT experience, with at least 5 years as a Lead Admin role for Aveva E3D and/or other Aveva products.
• Programming Skills: proficiency in PML and C#/.NET for Aveva customization.
• Database Knowledge: deep understanding of SQL Server and Aveva's proprietary database structure.
